Band Camp Payment Reminder! 1st Payment Due Now

A friendly reminder that the first payment is due for Band Camp fees. This payment of $150.00 covers all costs associated to both pre-camp and Band Camp, including payment to instructors who come in to assist. Please make sure to make this payment on time. Harpeth Band of Blue ~ Band Camp!

The 2011 Harpeth Band of Blue Band Camp is just around the corner!

Pre-camp will be held July 25, 2011 through July 28, 2011 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm daily.

Band Camp will be held August 1, 2011 through August 5, 2011 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. There will be a Parent Preview Show on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 6:00 pm.

Please remember that Pre-Camp and Band Camp are MANDATORY for all Band of Blue members. Doctor's notes will be required for illnesses. Work/jobs will not be counted as excused absences.

Being on time for both Pre-Camp, Band Camp, as well as all Band of Blue rehearsals is IMPERATIVE!

What to Bring to Pre-Camp/Band Camp:

  • Harpeth Band of Blue Forms ~ Completed please! Forms include:
    • Travel Release Form
    • Medical Information Form
    • Member Information Form
    • Harpeth Band of Blue Contract
  • Music Book (3 ring binder and clear sheet protectors)
  • Drill Book (3" by 5" card stock)
  • Pencil
  • Money for meals
  • Comfortable clothes. Please remember to adhere to school guidelines!
  • Closed toe athletic shoes with laces for out side rehearsals. No sandals, Crocs, flip flops, marching shoes, etc...
  • Hat and SUNSCREEN. It will be hot! You will get burned without sunscreen!
  • Water bottle/ Jug
  • Instrument/ mouthpiece/ sticks/ equipment
  • Music
  • A GREAT ATTITUDE! - We are going to work hard.

Titans LP Field Concessions!

The Harpeth Band of Blue will be working concessions for events at LP field for the 2011 season.  We did this in 2009 and were very successful.

Our first event was the 2011 CMA Music Festivalon June 9 and June 10, 2011. A great big thank you to all who volunteered!
